Each component of the Saurus vacuum pump meets the highest quality standards. Cylinder, piston, segments and head of the machine are made of special anti-acid cast iron. The other parts are made of cast iron, special steels and filled PTFE. All the vacuum pumps of the Saurus939 range have two completely independent lubrication circuits:
- a circuit for the process part, with calibrated injection of fresh oil, thanks to the LubriZero® system;
- a circuit for the mechanical part, with recirculated oil to minimize waste.

Saurus939 two-stage models are equipped with the exclusive LubriZero® system, which ensures the highest performance of the machine with minimal oil consumption. To completely protect the environment, the measured inflow of a few drops of fresh oil (of the order of 10 g/h) provides an effective barrier to the aggression of solvents, even the most aggressive ones, considerably increasing the duration of the perfect cylinder-piston coupling and therefore also the life of the vacuum pump.
The minimal use of oil, which acts as a barrier against acidic substances, not only prevents any contamination of the process, but also improves operation and increases the working life of the vacuum pump. This results in minimised maintenance costs, even with uncommon or aggressive substances.

- Atmospheric post-condenser for the recovery of solvents from the pump outlet
- Condensate recovery tank from the post-condenser outlet
- Pump suction filter with particle centrifuge separation and metal filtering cartridge

The standard version, CE εx II 2G T4/T3, is suitable for installation in an area classified as ZONE 1-GAS and temperature class T4 (135°C).
The Saurus939 special version can be supplied with ATEX certification up to ZONE 0-GAS (internal pump), ZONE 1-GAS (external pump) with three different classes of temperature T4 / T150°C / T3.
